In recent years coastal Kent has become the focus of regeneration through cultural enterprise. Taking the second Folkestone Triennial and the launch of Turner Contemporary as a starting point this talk will examine the cultural value of site-responsive artistic practice. This talk brings together key players who are shaping today’s thinking about the role art plays in the public domain.
